The Library Marketing Show, Episode 110
This video is for anyone who works in a library with a long holds list and frustrated readers. I’ll share some ideas for keeping people engaged with your collection even as they wait for that one book they are dying to read.
Kudos in this episode go to Indian Trails Public Library for this cute Library Card Signup month video, created by staff member Stephanie Diebel.

Angela,
Thank you for what you do. Your blog and videos are so helpful! I have a topic request. We use Constant Contact for email marketing. I have contact lists for various interests, including for children and youth. My problem is that those youth lists have not been updated in a while, and I know kids have grown up and are now in different age groups. In addition, others have moved away and new ones have arrived! What is the best way to update those types of contacts? Our youth department librarians can help some, but I need the best ways to reach out to the families. I don’t want them to unsubscribe because our emails have become irrelevant.
I also have an idea for kudos. I was scanning the #librarycardsignupmonth and found a post from Chesapeake Public Library that I thought was great use of a patron’s story. Turned out, they have several of these on their page. Love it! https://www.facebook.com/ChesapeakePublicLibrary/
